Sales Manager
Job Summary: Under limited supervision, the full-time Sales Manager position is primarily responsible for leading the sales team and overseeing the daily operations of the sales department. sales to public and private agencies. The primary duties include hiring and training sales staff, managing quotas, creating sales campaigns, and reporting to upper management.
THIS IS CURRENTLY A HYBRID POSITION. CANDIDATE MUST WILLING TO WORK AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN PALM HARBOR, FL. MINIMUM OF 2 DAYS A WEEK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
- Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
- Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally, regionally, and internationally
- Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Setting discount rates and determining price schedules
- Developing and Modifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
- Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
- Setting sales quotas and goals
- Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team
- Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
- Defining and executing territory sales plans
- Delivering presentations and product demonstrations via the web links or face-to-face meetings
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of our technically complex products and explaining the nuanced differences between products
- Writing effective proposals and quotes
- Attending conferences and other networking events to promote Geographic Solutions and its products
- Implementing and maintaining best practices for managing the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
