We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for our Marriott Properties Cleveland/Akron/Canton, Ohio, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have Marriott hotel sales experience, strong market knowledge, and a proven ability to increase occupancy through corporate, group, and leisure business.
Salary
(Based on experience and qualifications)
Performance Bonus Available
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of hotel sales experience (Marriott experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of Marriott sales tools and brand standards.
Experience in corporate, group, government, and negotiated account sales.
Ability to generate new business and maintain existing client relationships.
Knowledge of STR reports, market analysis, and revenue strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales software.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute hotel sales strategies to maximize revenue.
Generate new corporate, group, and leisure business.
Manage key accounts and maintain strong client relationships.
Conduct hotel tours, sales calls, and networking events.
Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Manager.
Achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
Represent the hotel at local business and tourism events.
