The JD for sales manager- natural gas compressors: 1. Market Development & Business Growth • Identify, develop, and expand new customer or EPC in the local market. • Generate, track, and convert business opportunities into secured contracts. (Products focus on natural gas compressors, including srew / reciprocating / centtifugal compressors, metering skids, processing equipment, etc.) • Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets. 2.Sales Strategy & Execution • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives. • Lead commercial negotiations, bidding processes, and contract execution. • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution. 3.Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics. • Conduct regular market research and generate analytical reports to support business decisions. • Provide insights on customer needs, competitor strategies, and emerging market opportunities. 4.Customer Relationships Building • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, government agencies, strategic partners, and distributors. • Represent the company at international exhibitions, forums, and industry summits to enhance brand presence and business development. • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to closure. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM software. The JD for sales manager- gas turbine generators: • Develop and qualify end-user customers in the market (gas power plants, large-scale energy storage, oil & gas sites, industrial users). Identify, track and convert commercial opportunities into signed contracts. • Lead commercial negotiations, participate in tenders and bid processes, and manage customer relationships through project execution to handover. • Build and execute territory sales plans to achieve annual revenue targets; manage pipeline and sales forecasting. • Monitor local industry and regulatory trends; perform regular market research and produce actionable market analysis reports. • Establish and maintain local government, strategic partner, distributor/agent, and key account relationships. Represent the company at trade shows, forums and industry summits. • Coordinate with technical, bidding, project delivery and after-sales teams to support feasibility, grid-connection procedures and successful commissioning.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage. • Minimum 8–15 years of experience in technical sales, business development, account management, or commercial roles within the oil & gas, power generation, industrial equipment, or energy sectors. • Proven experience in selling natural gas compressors (screw, reciprocating, centrifugal), gas turbine generators, metering skids, gas processing equipment, rotating equipment, or related engineered products. • Demonstrated success in developing new business opportunities and securing contracts with EPC contractors, oil & gas operators, utilities, industrial clients, and government entities. • Strong understanding of tendering processes, commercial negotiations, contract management, and project execution requirements. • Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal submission, negotiation, contract award, and project handover. • Established network of contacts within the local oil & gas, power, industrial, or utility sectors is highly desirable. • Ability to identify market opportunities, conduct competitor analysis, and develop effective sales and territory growth strategies.
