Sales Manager - MICE

You’ll be responsible for driving new business, growing key accounts and maximising revenue across our MICE portfolio. From corporate conferences and incentives to exhibitions, social events and group accommodation, you’ll own the sales journey and build relationships that turn opportunities into long-term business.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new MICE business across Corporate, Incentive, Exhibition, Residential Conference and Social segments
  • Build and grow high-value client relationships and key accounts
  • Manage the sales journey from enquiry through proposal, negotiation, contracting and follow-up
  • Develop tailored proposals and commercial strategies that convert opportunities into confirmed business
  • Conduct site inspections, client entertainment and targeted sales activities
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, tradeshows and networking opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to upsell accommodation, events, food & beverage and other hotel services
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets while maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Partner closely with Conference & Events and operational teams to deliver a seamless five-star client experience

You’re a relationship builder, a commercial thinker and someone who knows how to turn an opportunity into a great piece of business.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 4–5+ years’ experience in hotel sales, MICE, conferences & events or a similar environment
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills
  • An established network across corporate, MICE, events or related markets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The confidence and presence to represent a luxury hotel with clients and industry partners
  • Strong organisation, initiative and a genuine drive to win business
  • Experience with Delphi, Opera or similar hotel systems highly regarded
