Sales Manager
- Carry an individual quota alongside the team target.
- Prospect, open, and close new accounts yourself, particularly in the early phase.
- Own and lead the largest and most strategic opportunities end to end: qualification, solution scoping with pre-sales, proposal, pricing, negotiation, closing, and follow-through on delivery and collection.
- Define the sales structure: how many reps, what profiles, how accounts and territories are split.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop account managers and sales executives.
- Set individual quotas and KPIs, and recommend the incentive structure to management.
- Coach in the field, not from behind a desk — join customer meetings, review deal strategy, run pipeline reviews.
- Deliver the infrastructure revenue and gross-margin targets for Egypt — yours and the team’s.
- Maintain accurate pipeline coverage and forecasting discipline, with clear reporting to management.
- Review and approve pricing, proposals, and deal strategy before they go out.
- Set go-to-market priorities: which segments and verticals we attack first, and in what sequence.
- Own senior relationships with vendors and distributors — partner programs, deal registration, special pricing, joint account planning, MDF where available.
- Feed market intelligence into strategy: where we win, where we’re not yet credible, which partnerships and certifications to invest in.
Requirements
- 8+ years in B2B IT infrastructure sales in Egypt, including at least 3 years managing a sales team, within a system integrator, VAR, reseller, or distributor
- Demonstrated experience hiring and developing salespeople in this market.
- A real, active network among IT decision-makers, procurement teams, and vendor/channel organizations in Egypt.
- Solid commercial command of the infrastructure stack — networking, security, servers, storage, backup, virtualization — enough to qualify, price, and coach.
- Strong grasp of the vendor and distribution ecosystem in Egypt (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Huawei, VMware, Veeam, Nutanix).
Nice to Have
- Experience opening a new practice, branch, or product line rather than inheriting a running one.

- Experience attaching managed services, support contracts, and renewals to hardware sales.
- Vendor sales accreditations or partner-track certifications.
- Practical understanding of how FX movement and price validity affect hardware deals in this market.
