Sales Manager (New & Used)
Location: Savoy, IL 61874 (1402–1404 N Dunlap Ave & 100 Burwash Ave campus)
Pay: $70,000–$120,000 per year total compensation (base salary plus commission)
Job type: Full-time, base salary plus commission
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

About the role
Serra Champaign is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead new and used vehicle sales at its multi-franchise, high-volume store in Savoy, featuring Honda, BMW, Subaru, Buick GMC, and a standalone used car center. Vehicles are front-line ready in 6 hours.
The ideal candidate has 10 years of retail experience as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager and is strong with technology, CRMs, appraising, and reconditioning. This position offers a path to General Manager training. Managers are paid on all dealership income from all departments.
Responsibilities – the Sales Manager will
- Manage new and used vehicle retail sales and marketing
- Manage used car wholesale and purchasing
- Forecast units, gross, and expenses
- Hire, train, and lead sales associates
- Close deals and work with lenders
- Follow all applicable regulations
- Resolve customer issues
- Maintain delivery standards
- Enforce dealership policy
- Maintain a 60-day inventory turn
Qualifications
- 10 years of retail experience as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager
- Strong with technology, CRMs, appraising, and reconditioning
- Knowledge of finance and bank programs, with established lender relationships
- Strong communication skills
- High-volume store experience preferred
