The Position…
This is an autonomous role, where you will be responsible for
managing a team and developing new business. You will be required follow-up on warm
leads, allocating them to team members and offering technical advice about the packaging
requirements.
A further outline of the responsibilities includes;
- Manage the QLD operations, accounts and follow up on customer related enquiries.
- Expand current account base, through targeted marketing.
- Ensure products solutions quoted are suitable for the intended purpose.
- Improve product awareness and client education around product requirements.
- Assist in the negotiation of customer payment terms and conditions.
- Apply the supplied in-house training and deliver a full working knowledge of products to the team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop new business
and manage the sales team’s current business operations, sales
forecasting, and budgeting requirements, along with setting up targets and providing accurate
reports based on the teams sales achievements.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have;
- An excellent understanding of the packaging industry.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales management experience.
- A professional, well organised and motivated to succeed attitude.
- Friendly, well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management, organisational and prioritising skills.
- A solid computer-based competency.
