About the Role
Stellar International Company Limited, a subsidiary of RSIN Group, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales operations, build a high-performing team, and drive business growth across the Badagry and Benin border regions. The role involves warehouse setup support, market expansion, customer relationship management, and cross-border business coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support warehouse site selection and operational setup in Badagry.
- Recruit, train, and manage a local sales team to achieve business targets.
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly sales strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers in the steel and textile sectors.
- Manage customer records, quotations, orders, and shipment follow-ups.
- Support customers with cross-border trade and self-pickup processes between Nigeria and Benin.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and border trade developments.
- Provide market insights and recommendations on pricing and product strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' sales experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience selling steel products (e.g., reinforcing bars, iron nails, binding wire) and textile products (e.g., mattresses, pillows, fabrics).
- Strong knowledge of the Badagry market and surrounding commercial hubs such as Alaba and Trade Fair.
- Experience building and managing sales teams from the ground up.
- Strong negotiation, market analysis, and business development skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile business tools.
- Fluent in English and Yoruba; French is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Nigeria–Benin border trade procedures is an advantage.
