Sales Manager
Position Summary: The Sales Manager delivers an outstanding experience for every prospective client event— from their very first inquiry, through every stage of the sales pipeline, to a flawlessly executed event and beyond. This role owns the full client journey for an assigned region: generating new leads, guiding prospects through each stage of the sales process, and converting inquiries into booked event business. Success in this role comes from balancing proactive lead generation and relationship-building with responsive, high-touch service to every prospective and returning client.
The Sales Manager partners closely with the operations team to ensure every booked event is executed to the highest standard, and collaborates with marketing and leadership to bring fresh ideas, track market trends, and grow revenue across the region.
This is a hybrid position, with up to 50% of the workweek spent in venues — touring venues with prospects, meeting clients on-site, and representing the brand at local marketing events — and the remainder spent managing the pipeline, proposals, and client communications remotely or in-office.
The salary range for this position is $48,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s commission plan, providing additional earning potential based on sales performance.

- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals
- Proactively identify and pursue new business within target markets, building a strong pipeline of qualified leads for the region
- Guide each prospect through every stage of the pipeline — inquiry, needs assessment, proposal, tour, and close — with clear next steps and follow-through
- Provide exemplary customer service for all events and manage client relationships during the event planning and stay in contact for future events
- Follow all sales processes and maintain accurate, up-to-date records for every lead, opportunity, and client touchpoint in all sales systems
- Communicate the features and benefits of Company properties and event packages, tailoring the approach to each client's event type (weddings, corporate events, field trips, and more)
- Ensure proper payment handling procedures are being followed; Including correctly charging each guest for their event, collecting deposits and final payments and reconciling final event invoice amounts
- Ensure successful event execution by partnering with the operations team by using excellent communication, including documenting events in detail on Banquet Event Orders and running all BEO meetings in their assigned region
- Strong understanding of the specific needs of different event types, such as weddings, field trips, corporate events, etc.
- Normal work week hours are traditional business hours however the ability to work different shifts, weekends, and holidays, including extended workdays to support business if needed

Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of related hospitality and sales experience
- Experience in catering and group event sales is highly preferred
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with Hubspot, Triple Seat or similar CRM highly preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have the ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility in a workday
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs.
