SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE (EXCLUDING FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES)
Job Scope
• Identify, develop, and follow up on new business opportunities for events, exhibitions, corporate functions, roadshows, promotional activities, and related event services
• Generate sales leads through client outreach, referrals, networking, digital channels, exhibitions, and other business development activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to develop long-term business opportunities
• Understand clients’ event objectives, requirements, budgets, and expectations, and recommend suitable event solutions
• Prepare and present event proposals, sales presentations, quotations, packages, and marketing solutions to clients
• Follow up on sales enquiries, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities to achieve company sales targets
• Attend client meetings, networking sessions, exhibitions, events, and industry activities to promote the company’s event services and capabilities
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales and event planning process
• Work closely with the project, operations, creative, and event teams to ensure client requirements are communicated accurately and projects are executed smoothly
• Assist in developing creative event concepts, promotional ideas, campaign proposals, and audience engagement initiatives
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for services, and promotional activities across online and offline channels
• Manage and update the company’s social media platforms, website content, digital advertisements, and other marketing channels
• Create and coordinate marketing materials, including brochures, event decks, presentations, newsletters, social media content, and promotional materials
• Support event publicity activities, including partnerships, media engagement, influencer collaborations, and promotional campaigns where required
• Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, competitor activities, pricing, and emerging opportunities
• Stay updated with trends in events, entertainment, lifestyle, digital marketing, social media, and audience engagement
• Track the performance of marketing campaigns, lead-generation activities, and sales initiatives and recommend areas for improvement
• Prepare regular sales reports, marketing reports, sales pipelines, client updates, and performance summaries for management review
• Maintain accurate client records, quotations, proposals, sales documentation, and project-related information
• Coordinate promotional events, roadshows, exhibitions, product launches, corporate events, and other marketing activities where required
• Provide on-site support during events when necessary to ensure client requirements and promotional activities are carried out effectively
• Handle client and customer enquiries promptly and professionally
• Work closely with suppliers, partners, venues, and other external parties where required to support event proposals and marketing activities
• Perform other sales, marketing, business development, event support, and administrative duties as assigned
Job Requirements
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, events, business development, or a related field preferred
• Experience in the events, exhibitions, marketing, advertising, or related service industry will be an advantage
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Able to identify business opportunities, follow up on sales leads, and work towards achieving sales targets
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, enquiries, and projects simultaneously
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines appropriately
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, responsible, and results-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and channels, including social media marketing, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and digital advertising, will bean advantage
• Comfortable attending client meetings, events, exhibitions, and on-site activities at different locations when required
• Able to work outside regular office hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, when required based on client or event schedules
• Adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the company and business requirements evolve
• 6-day work week
