Description

Sales, Marketing & Field Brand Ambassador Intern

All American 1930, a division of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry | Manitowoc, WI + travel across the U.S.

Your classroom is on the road. Your office is where the next customer is.

Want an internship that gets you out from behind a desk? Represent an American-made brand, making pressure canners since 1930, at canning, gardening and homesteading events across the country.

This is a paid, 12-14 week internship running May/June through August 2027, with flexible hours. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Travel to homesteading, canning, gardening, food preservation and agricultural events across the U.S.
  • Be the visible, approachable face of All American 1930
  • Demo pressure canners, can seamers and other products, and answer customer questions
  • Educate first, sell second, and generate direct sales at events when appropriate
  • Work with local retailers and distributors on event-based sales opportunities
  • Capture photo and video on location, and interview customers, creators, retailers and event organizers
  • Help us find new events, retailers, influencers and partners
  • Bring customer feedback and trends back to Marketing and Product Management

You might be a fit if you

  • Are studying Marketing, Sales, Communications, Business, Agriculture or similar
  • Are outgoing and comfortable talking with people you don’t know
  • Communicate and present well, including in front of groups
  • Are comfortable demonstrating products
  • Are comfortable traveling extensively and working independently
  • Are sales-oriented, but passionate about educating rather than simply selling
  • Can shoot photos and videos on a smartphone and spot a content moment as it happens
  • Are organized enough to handle event logistics, expenses and follow-up
  • Are comfortable representing an American-made brand

Experience or interest in canning, gardening, homesteading, agriculture, cooking or food preservation is a significant plus.

By the end of your internship, you’ll have

  • Represented the brand independently at meaningful events across multiple markets
  • Generated measurable event sales and/or retail leads
  • Built relationships with retailers, event organizers, creators and potential partners
  • Created a substantial library of authentic, on-location content
  • Raised consumer awareness and engagement
  • Delivered customer and market insights to Marketing and Product Management
  • Helped create a repeatable event-marketing playbook for future years

This isn’t an office internship.

It’s people, travel, sales, content and events, all in one. If you’d rather meet customers than sit in a cubicle, this is for you. You’ll learn to walk into a room of strangers and create a connection, a skill you’ll use for your whole career.

Bring your curiosity. Bring your personality. We’ll give you a brand to represent.
