Sales & Marketing Officer
JOB PURPOSE:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, implementing effective marketing strategies, acquiring new clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the laboratory equipment industry. A successful Sales & Marketing Officer for our company is one that meets or surpasses sales targets, increases revenue, and expands the client base while retaining existing customers.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Identify and target prospective clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, and academic sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to showcase the features and benefits of our laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and digital content to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Utilize various channels including social media, email marketing, industry events, and networking opportunities to prospect for new business leads.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and qualification to negotiation, closing, and post-sales support.
- Coordinate with the operations and logistics team to ensure timely delivery of orders and superior customer service.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for product innovation and business growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Timely and accurate reporting as directed by the supervisor.
- Any other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or related Subjects
- Work experience: 1 to 2 years’ experience selling laboratory equipment’s
- Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word & Power point, Email etiquette
- Language: English proficiency both written and spoken.
- Drivers License - Class D
