  • Handle banquet enquiries, telephone calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable banquet venues, menus, packages, and event arrangements.
  • Prepare and share quotations, proposals, contracts, and event-related documentation with clients.
  • Conduct banquet venue/show-rounds for prospective clients and explain available facilities and services.
  • Follow up regularly with prospective clients to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, enquiries, tentative bookings, confirmed functions, and revenue.
  • Coordinate with Banquets, F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Finance, and other departments for successful event execution.
  • Prepare and communicate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure all agreed arrangements are properly documented.
  • Assist in negotiating rates, packages, menus, and other commercial terms within approved guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event agencies, and other key accounts.
  • Monitor banquet bookings and ensure proper billing, deposits, payment follow-ups, and financial documentation.
  • Handle guest/client concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups to obtain feedback and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Support the Banquet Sales Manager in achieving monthly revenue and business targets.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and local events to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Maintain professional standards of guest service, grooming, communication, and hotel brand representation.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and applicable operational procedures
  • Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in Banquet Sales / Hotel Sales / Events / Hospitality, preferably in a reputed hotel.
  • Experience in handling corporate events, weddings, conferences, and social functions will be an advantage.
