Sales Operations Lead (Northwest)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Operations Lead (Northwest) based in United States.

This role is an opportunity to take on a leadership position within a high-performing sales operations organization supporting a fast-paced cybersecurity business.
You will combine hands-on sales operations expertise with team leadership, process ownership, and strategic regional support.
Working closely with regional operations leadership, you will help strengthen sales processes, improve execution, and deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.
A key focus will be refining deal registration practices and ensuring partner and vendor programs are leveraged effectively to support profitability.
You will also guide Sales Operations Coordinators, conduct performance reviews, and mentor team members as they develop professionally.
The role offers exposure to regional initiatives, corporate projects, vendor relationships, and cross-functional collaboration.
It is well suited to a detail-oriented, proactive professional ready to expand their operational scope and make a measurable impact on sales performance.

Accountabilities

  • Continue performing core Sales Operations Specialist responsibilities, including generating quotes, tracking opportunities, processing purchase orders, and supporting Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.
  • Serve as the backup operational point of contact when the Sales Operations Manager is unavailable, ensuring continuity of service and execution.
  • Lead and support Regional Sales Coordinators, promoting clear communication, strong responsiveness, and high-quality service for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Refine, manage, and continuously improve the regional Deal Registration process to maximize gross profit and strengthen operational efficiency.
  • Partner with corporate Vendor Relationship Management teams to maintain a strong understanding of vendor and partner programs, including regional contacts, partnership levels, and margin opportunities.
  • Support regional management with special projects, operational initiatives, and other business priorities as needed.
  • Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day reviews as well as annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on professional development, performance improvement, and career growth opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales operations processes, documentation, communication, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Promote the effective adoption of AI-enabled tools and evolving technologies that can improve operational productivity and decision-making.
  • Requirements

    • Demonstrated excellence in a Sales Operations Specialist or comparable sales operations role, with the ability to successfully assume broader responsibilities.
    • Proven ability to independently own complex operational responsibilities and operate effectively with increasing levels of accountability.
    • 1–3 years of team leadership or people management experience preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to operational accuracy.
    • Strong judgment and analytical ability, with the capacity to evaluate information and make decisions that support business objectives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working through ambiguity and changing priorities.
    • Positive, professional attitude and openness to constructive feedback and continuous improvement.
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
    • Willingness and ability to learn and effectively use AI-enabled tools.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule when business needs require it.
    • Willingness to travel or work onsite as needed.
    • Ability to perform primarily sedentary computer-based work, including extended periods of keyboard and mouse use and close visual work.
