Sales Operations Manager
- Working location: Central, Singapore
- Working hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm; 5-day workweek
- Report to: Korean Managing Director
About the Job
Responsible for supporting business development strategies with the MD, managing the sales process, and coordinating with internal teams and Korean Headquarters to drive sustainable business growth and long-term objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales operations, setting performance goals, and driving execution of sales strategies.
- Oversee trading operations, including import/export activities, trade documentation, shipment coordination, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Support departmental and corporate business planning, including market analysis, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with headquarters’ objectives.
- Review, monitor, and analyze sales data, activities, and market trends to identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and maximize revenue.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead management, client presentations, negotiations, contract execution, and closing deals.
- Represent the Company professionally to clients, building long-term relationships while balancing customer needs with the Company’s commercial objectives, especially with Korean speaking clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams(operations, finance, compliance) to streamline trading processes and ensure seamless execution of new business.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends to expand the client base.
- Develop and present business proposals and commercial solutions aligned with client requirements and Company capabilities, including P&L analysis and financial simulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Business, International Trade, or related disciplines.
- 5 years of experience in sales management or trading operations.
- Experience in international trading, commodity trading, or import/export business development will be highly preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, finance, insurance, freight, logistics, and warehousing related to trading operations.
- Able to read trading documents in Korean
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office with strong report writing and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international trading environment.
