Sales Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
New Balance Korea is hiring a Sales Operations Manager who will build core commercial operations and support multichannel growth across wholesale, marketplace, franchise, and future direct operated stores. This role owns key sales processes, systems, reporting, and Cross functional alignment.
The role will also manage operation of DTC stores including store level KPI training/action support, commercial sample management, and sale sops training. The role also oversees operational readiness and execution for DTC stores in close alignment with Global and Regional teams (English proficiency required).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Operations Leadership
- Build and lead the full Sales Operations ecosystem for the Korea Commercial organization.
- Define workflows, tools, and SOP (Sales Operation Process) that support wholesale, marketplace, franchise, and future DTC channels.
- Serve as the operational backbone for the Commercial team, ensuring consistency, discipline, and execution excellence.
- Manage and develop a Sales Operations team, fostering a culture of accuracy, speed, and accountability.
2. Commercial Operations & Direct‑Operated Store Support
- Act as the central operations coordinator during direct-operated store launches and ongoing store operations.
- Support Commercial teams with operational checklists, internal communication, issue tracking, and documentation.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day operational flows across Partner Management, DTC, and multi‑channel commercial teams.
- Provide store level KPI training, support, and performance guidance based on commercial data.
- Support store teams with operational readiness, compliance routines, and daily process execution.
3. KPI, Reporting & Performance Enablement
- Build and manage dashboards and reporting tools to track sell-in, sell-out, stock, and partner performance.
- Ensure data accuracy across ERP, CRM, OMS and maintain governance standards.
- Translate commercial data into actionable insights for the Commercial Director and cross‑functional partners.
- Support KPI understanding, adoption, and execution capability at store level as DTC and key doors scale.
4. Store Training & Global Alignment
- Complete required English based Store Operations Training provided by Global/Regional teams.
- Cascade training content to store teams and internal stakeholders.
- Own the team’s Operations & Training, ensuring operational execution and training delivery coexist smoothly.
- Support internal capability building across sales operations and store operations.
5. Cross Functional Collaboration
- Act as the operational liaison between Commercial, Merchandising, Finance, and Operation.
- Align key milestones with the GTM calendar and ensure seamless cross team execution.
- Support cross channel operational efficiency improvements.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
- 8 to 10 years in Sales/Commercial/Business Operations within consumer-focused industries.
- Experience supporting or operating retail environments (wholesale, marketplace, franchise, or DTC).
- Strong organizational skills and proven experience managing operational workflows.
- Ability to manage KPIs, dashboards, and commercial reporting tools.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Fluent in Korean and English (required for global operations training).
- Experience managing small teams preferred.
