As a Home Furnishings Advisor, you'll help customers create homes they love by getting to know their needs, style and budget, then helping them find furniture and mattress solutions that are right for them.

Great salespeople come from all kinds of backgrounds.

If you've worked in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, home design or another people-focused environment, you may already have many of the skills needed to succeed.

We'll provide the product knowledge, sales training and ongoing coaching to help you build your career.

Your Earning Opportunity

• Average annual earnings of $50,000-$90,000+
• Top performers can earn $100,000+ annually
• Minimum guaranteed pay during your first 90 days while you train and begin building your customer base

Following the introductory guarantee period, this position uses a draw-versus-commission compensation structure. We'll explain how the program works during the recruiting process so you understand how your earnings are calculated.

What You'll Do

As a Home Furnishings Advisor, you'll:

• Welcome customers and create an exceptional shopping experience
• Understand each customer's needs, style and budget
• Recommend furniture and mattress solutions that fit the customer's home and lifestyle
• Build lasting relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
• Develop new customers through networking, clienteling and prospecting
• Work toward individual sales goals and performance expectations
• Participate in required sales training and store meetings
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and leadership
• Work independently while also contributing to the success of the store team

Skills/Requirements:

• Flexibility/availability to work a retail hours/scheduling: includes days, evenings, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
• Customer service experience (face-to-face preferred).
• High-energy, entrepreneurial and team-oriented people person.
• Excellent and effective communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and the ability to be trained/coached.
• Retail/Hospitality/Service industry experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a commissioned sales role; experience or education in sales, upselling, marketing, or interior design is a plus.
• Experience and/or proficiency with computerized-based systems and technologies; i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office, POS Systems, digital/mobile devices, etc.
• Ability to meet physical demands and requirements of the position.
• Education: High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent and above.
