WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

Sales readiness is not about training people. It is about preparing them to perform.

Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, the Manager, Sales Readiness is a senior individual contributor role that adds the hands-on capacity, sales experience, and technical expertise needed to translate established Enablement strategy into practical learning, seller application, and manager reinforcement at scale. This role is not about delivering training. It is about building practical seller application.

OUR ENABLEMENT MISSION

Revenue Enablement exists to transform business priorities into measurable seller capability. We measure success through practical adoption, stronger manager coaching, improved customer conversations, and contribution to revenue performance, not by training volume or completion alone.

HOW YOU WILL ELEVATE THE WORK

  • Translate established Enablement strategy and sales methodology into practical learning experiences, seller tools, practice, and manager reinforcement.

  • Bring a seller’s perspective to the work, testing whether ideas will hold up in real customer conversations and recommending how to make them more useful.

  • Design, test, evaluate, and refine generative AI workflows for sellers within clear methodologies and guardrails.

  • Use Gong, Salesforce, and other field evidence to surface patterns, assess application, and recommend where reinforcement is needed.

  • Facilitate learning experiences that require sellers to think, discuss, practice, and apply, not simply listen.

  • Partner across Enablement to ensure learning, content, technology, and execution work together, and bring informed recommendations to the Director of Sales Enablement.

  • The ability to influence sellers, managers, and partners without formal authority

WHO YOU ARE

You have carried a sales quota and navigated challenging customer conversations. You understand that great selling is built through judgment and not scripts. You think like a builder: curious, practical, comfortable challenging assumptions, and committed to helping others succeed.

WHAT GREAT LOOKS LIKE

You will bring execution expertise and informed recommendations while the Director retains strategy, priorities, measurement, and department accountability. You will translate Enablement strategy into learning experiences, tools, and practice that sellers can use immediately. Sellers leave knowing what to do differently in their next customer conversation, managers know what to coach afterward, and field observations strengthen the next version of the work.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In the first 12 months, you will have:

  • Translated priority Enablement initiatives into practical learning, seller tools, practice, and manager reinforcement.

  • Established a consistent approach for designing and facilitating learning experiences grounded in seller application.

  • Developed and refined AI-enabled seller workflows with clear testing standards, output evaluation, and guardrails.

  • Used Gong, Salesforce, seller feedback, and manager observations to provide actionable field evidence and informed recommendations.

  • Expanded the department’s capacity to execute its priorities without sacrificing quality, consistency, or connection to real customer conversations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Quota-carrying B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS.

  • Experience designing and facilitating sales training, coaching, or Enablement experiences grounded in application and practice.

  • Practical generative AI experience, including prompt development, testing, output evaluation, guardrails, and adoption.

  • Experience using Gong or another conversation intelligence platform to identify seller behaviors and coaching opportunities.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM and the ability to use opportunity, activity, and pipeline data as field evidence.

  • Strong diagnostic, critical-thinking, communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • A builder’s mindset: able to work through ambiguity, bring an informed point of view, test ideas, and improve the next version.

IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU

If you are energized by developing people, experimenting with AI, learning from the field, and helping great selling become teachable, coachable, repeatable, and scalable, we would love to meet you.
