Proxifresh Co Ltd has recently joined Scott and Company Limited, one of Mauritius's leading distribution groups. A trusted local food business, now with the backing, structure and career opportunities of a larger group.
We are looking for a Sales Representative to grow our HORECA and gourmet business across Mauritius. You will build relationships with chefs, hotels, restaurants and caterers, win new accounts, and introduce customers to a quality portfolio of fresh and gourmet products.
What You'll Do
- Win new HORECA and gourmet accounts and grow existing ones through regular visits and reliable service.
- Build lasting relationships with chefs, buyers and hospitality professionals.
- Introduce customers to seasonal produce, gourmet ingredients and new products.
- Meet sales targets across revenue, volume and gross margin.
What We're Looking For
- A natural relationship-builder, confident opening doors with chefs, buyers and decision-makers.
- Commercially driven and motivated by targets, comfortable prospecting and closing.
- Self-organised and reliable, able to run your own territory and follow through.
- A real feel for food and hospitality, with knowledge of the HORECA sector a strong plus.
- Fluent in English and French, with a valid driving licence.
Formal qualifications are a bonus, not a barrier. We care more about your drive, your people skills and your feel for food
