Sales Representative / Packaging Consultant

As a member of Universal Forest Products Australia, UBEECO ® Packaging Solutions is the leader in its specialised sector of industrial packaging goods and services with a strong focus on both standard and customised timber, cardboard, and consumable packaging products.

YOU

You’ll be a Business Specialist with direct selling and business development experience. You’ll have a self-starter attitude, have a solid work ethic that enables you to work with a high degree of autonomy and the drive to continuously prospect, leveraging off your past and newly acquired customer base to develop new business leads.

ROLE

Your focus will be to hunt and prospect new opportunities proactively in the Sydney Metro territory. You will also be responsible for maintaining long-term business partnerships with our current customers and developing new opportunities within them. While timber and timber packaging products are our core business, we also offer additional products such as cardboard and packaging consumables to complement our core range

EXPECTATIONS

• You must have a minimum 2 years prior experience in sales
  
• Timber, carboard and or packaging consumable experience desirable
  
• You must have a proven track record for hunting and converting new business opportunities
  
• Demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  
• You’ll be hungry and competitive.
  
• Exposure to quoting and tendering would be advantageous
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication are required
  
• An average knowledge of computing, (Outlook, Excel, Word, Inventory management systems)
  
• Competent with measuring and offering solutions to customers
  
• To be able to work independently post the initial induction period
  
• Able to assist you fellow sales colleagues with technical knowhow when required
