Sales Representative
Sales Representative | $25 to $35 per hour | Campbell, CA | Part Time to Full Time | Year-Round
Sutton Swim School is a family-owned business that has served Bay Area families for more than 25 years, currently providing baby, child and adult lessons to 500 swimmers weekly. We are hiring a Sales Representative who can build trust, guide families toward the right program, and confidently turn inquiries into enrollments.
This is a sales role first. You will connect with families in person, by phone, through email, in our booking system, and across several marketing platforms. Your job is to understand what each family needs, recommend the right class, follow up, and guide them confidently through enrollment. We are looking for someone who can build trust, communicate value clearly, and turn inquiries into new swimmers.
As part of onboarding, you will attend swim instructor training and spend time in the water learning how our lessons are taught. This is required so you can understand our programs firsthand, explain them clearly, and recommend them with confidence. We believe the best salespeople understand the service they are offering firsthand.
You will also help open or close the facility, make sure the space is ready for families, and serve as the on-duty lead when a manager is not present. For the right person, this role offers a clear path toward Assistant Manager and Customer Service Manager.
Schedule
Available hours are Monday through Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
What You Bring
- At least two years of sales or customer service experience
- Strong communication, follow-through, and confidence asking for the enrollment
- Comfortable working with children and families
Helpful Experience
- Marketing, referral, or community outreach
- Supervisory or management experienc
- Spanish and English fluency
- Experience in a gym, school, tutoring center, youth program, or membership business
Pay and Benefits
- $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience
- Health insurance after 30 hours per week
- Shift leadership responsibility
- Growth toward Assistant Manager and Customer Service Manager
