POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for managing accounts while developing new prospects to increase sales and profits. Responsible for driving sales growth efforts through product and customer knowledge to identify opportunities to grow current product lines and add new products lines thereby increasing sales and profits in the region.

The Sales Representative is responsible for

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct Sales to accounts in assigned territory
• Establish new customer relationships and maintain current ones.
• Provide technical support for chemical applications to existing and potential customers
• Perform customer needs assessments to cultivate additional business
• Grow profitability of territory with pricing and additional products or quantity of current products
• Keep upper management informed of competitive developments in territory
• Complete monthly reports and market summary for territory
• Assist in developing our annual strategic plan for territory
• Conduct onsite product testing and selection for swimming pool and municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment applications.
• Assist trade organizations by participating in professional training seminars
• Conduct plant trials for potable water and wastewater applications
• Troubleshoot customer’s systems and make recommendations for performance improvements
• Assists customers in making potable water scale and corrosion treatment recommendations.
