Sales Specialist - Electrical Johannesburg (Permanent)
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years' external sales experience (lighting/electrical/construction advantageous)
- Strong project sales and specification-selling knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Computer literate (MS Office and CRM systems)
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
- Proven record of meeting sales targets
Responsibilities
- Build and grow relationships with electrical wholesalers, retailers, contractors, architects, and project managers
- Identify new business across commercial, hospitality, residential, and retail sectors
- Promote and sell decorative, architectural, commercial, and smart lighting solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and product presentations
- Manage projects from enquiry through to after-sales support
- Conduct client visits and product demonstrations
- Achieve sales targets and monitor market/competitor trends
- Attend industry events and networking functions
