Sales Specialist

Location: South Africa (Remote)

Working Hours: US Hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
Salary: Paid in South African Rand (ZAR)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Sales Automation Specialist to help build and optimize our sales pipeline from the ground up. This role combines sales operations, CRM management, automation, and lead generation to support business growth.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and commercially minded, with a passion for streamlining processes and improving efficiency. You'll work closely with internal teams to manage sales workflows, generate qualified opportunities, and ensure our sales systems operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize sales workflows and automation processes.
• Maintain and update CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Support lead generation, prospect outreach, and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate sales campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Schedule and manage meetings with prospective clients.
• Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline performance, and operational KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and implement automation solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of workflows, procedures, and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales operations.
• Provide general administrative support for the sales team.
• Assist with additional sales operations and automation projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, B2B Sales, Business Development, SDR, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of CRM platforms and sales processes.
• Experience using automation tools and workflow platforms is highly advantageous.
• Comfortable learning new software and technologies quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
