Your Role in Our Success

The Sales Specialist: Shipbuilding & Military is a professional sales role focused on supporting customers in the shipbuilding and defense sectors. Ideal candidates have backgrounds in metalworking, abrasives, fabrication, or heavy manfuacturing, and live near key shipbuilding hubs. This is a field-based sales role with strong distrubutor and end-user engagement.

Location:

United States – Regionally Based

Near shipbuilding hubs:

  • New England Area
  • Norfolk, VA

Reports To:

National Director of Shipbuilding & Military

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales with End Users and Distributors in shipbuilding and adjacent industrial markets.
  • Provide product expertise and technical demonstrations.
  • Develop territory plans and achieve sales targets.
  • Build strong customer and distributor relationships.
  • Share market insights with sales and product management teams.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years sales experience, preferably in industrial/metalworking sectors.
  • Exposure to shipyards, naval supply chains, or defense accounts a plus.
  • Strong communication, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Residency near shipbuilding hubs preferred.
  • Ability to travel with limited overnight requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field preferred.
