Sales Store Checker

The primary purpose of this position is to operate a cash register scanning system to check out items and to receive payment for purchases made in a DeCA commissary. Read the entire announcement before starting the application process.

Operate an electronic checkout system, makes change, and verifies change fund and amount of currency received during an assigned shift. Manage change machines ensuring proper amounts of cash and coins are available. Assist customers by answering questions concerning prices, identification, and location of items. Count cash and negotiable instruments and to prepare an accountability report. Manage the self-check-out registers assisting customers in the correct processing of their purchases. Change register tape, and clear routine equipment and scanning jams on registers. Read the entire job announcement.
