Sales Supervisor (Beauty Retail Outlet)
Job Summary
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beauty retail outlet, leading and motivating the sales team to achieve outlet sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth operational excellence. The role includes driving retail product sales, beauty treatment package sales, membership enrolment, and maintaining the highest standards of customer experience and store presentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance
- Achieve individual and outlet monthly sales targets.
- Drive sales of beauty products, skincare, treatment packages, and memberships.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
- Monitor daily sales performance and implement action plans to improve results.
- Ensure all promotions and marketing campaigns are effectively communicated and executed.
2. Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive customer experience.
- Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Follow up with customers on appointments, package renewals, and membership opportunities.
3. Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and motivate Beauty Consultants, Sales Consultants, and Front Desk staff.
- Conduct daily sales briefings and product knowledge sharing.
- Train staff on customer service, sales techniques, product knowledge, and company SOPs.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
4. Outlet Operations
- Ensure the outlet is clean, organised, and professionally presented at all times.
- Monitor appointment schedules and customer flow to maximise operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with therapists to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure sufficient stock levels of retail products and consumables.
- Conduct regular stock counts and minimise stock discrepancies.
- Maintain proper visual merchandising and product displays.
5. Administrative Duties
- Prepare daily sales, collection, and operational reports.
- Monitor cash handling and daily closing procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer records, package sales, and memberships.
- Assist with inventory ordering and stock replenishment.
6. Staff Management
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage manpower allocation.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, and workplace discipline.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Conduct performance coaching and recommend staff development initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the beauty, skincare, aesthetics, spa, or retail industry.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
- Proven track record in beauty retail sales and treatment package sales.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate and familiar with POS systems.
- Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
