Sales Supervisor – Carpentry Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Sales Supervisor to manage client and designer enquiries for customised carpentry projects. This role requires strong communication, technical coordination, and project follow-up skills to ensure carpentry requirements are clearly understood and successfully executed from design discussion through installation and after-sales service.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Liaise with interior designers, architects, contractors, and clients to understand carpentry design requirements, specifications, materials, finishes, dimensions, and functional details.

* Review drawings and carpentry details with designers to ensure requirements are clearly communicated to the production and project teams.

* Prepare and follow up on quotations, project requirements, variations, and sales enquiries.

* Coordinate closely with the factory, production, project, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed according to approved drawings and schedules.

* Arrange and coordinate site measurements, deliveries, and installation works.

* Conduct site visits when required to verify conditions, resolve installation issues, and coordinate with relevant parties.

* Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to designers and clients.

* Identify potential technical or site issues and work with the relevant teams to provide practical solutions.

* Manage project handover and ensure outstanding defects or rectification works are completed promptly.

* Follow up on after-sales service, warranty matters, defects, adjustments, and customer feedback.

* Maintain good working relationships with existing designers, contractors, and clients while developing new business opportunities.

* Supervise and support the sales team in handling enquiries, project coordination, and customer service.

* Maintain accurate records of quotations, project status, customer requirements, and follow-up activities.

*Requirements*

* Diploma or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Building, Construction, Sales, or related fields is preferred.

* Experience in carpentry, interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing, renovation, or construction-related sales is an advantage.

* Able to understand carpentry drawings, dimensions, materials, hardware, and construction details.

* Strong communication and coordination skills with designers, clients, factory teams, and installers.

* Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle site and installation issues independently.

* Organised, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Customer-service-oriented with good follow-up and interpersonal skills.

* Possess leadership qualities and the ability to supervise and guide sales team members.

* Willing to travel to project sites when required.

*Preferred Skills*

* Knowledge of customised carpentry, cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchen systems, built-in furniture, and interior fit-out works.

* Familiarity with materials such as laminates, veneers, plywood, solid surfaces, hardware, and related carpentry finishes.

* Ability to read AutoCAD or technical drawings would be an advantage.

* Experience coordinating projects from quotation to production, installation, handover, and after-sales service is highly preferred.
