What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll play an important role in supporting the overall success of the branch. You’ll build strong relationships with a wide range of customers - from local farmers and producers to trade customers - while bringing a positive, can‑do attitude to everything you do. You’ll support the branch by:
- Providing support and advice to customers
- Performing day-to-day administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
- Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
- Processing counter sales
- Assisting with merchandise campaign material
- Manage stock and pick and pack customer orders
- On farm deliveries when required
- Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
- Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
- Supporting the team wherever needed to help keep the branch running smoothly
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring previous experience in a team support or customer‑focused role within a busy environment. You’ll have a genuine interest in Australian farming and agriculture, with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise highly regarded.
- Experience working in a sales, customer service or warehousing environment
- An energetic, can‑do attitude with initiative and a practical problem‑solving approach
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build long‑term customer relationships
- A proactive mindset with good organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to handle customer enquiries with empathy and confidence
- An interest in identifying opportunities to improve internal sales and branch processes
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- A current driver’s licence (essential)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
