Sales - Tender Specialist
The Tender Specialist supports AMERICAS business units in the preparation, coordination, and submission of tender documents for projects. The role ensures compliance with client requirements, internal policies, and deadlines, while facilitating communication between technical, commercial, legal, and operational teams
Tender Management Support
Receive, log, and register incoming tender requests from clients in coordination with Sales.
Review tender documentation and identify key client requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
Support analyzing tender material and contracts with attention to legal, commercial, and technical clauses.
Distribute relevant parts of the tender documentation to appropriate internal departments
Coordinate the inputs gathering data (technical, financial, legal, HR) from supportive departments.
2.Offer Preparation
Assist in compiling cost calculations and commercial analysis for tender offers.
Support identification of country-specific requirements (e.g., permitting, tax, visas, local content).
Contribute to the drafting of pricing proposals and offer documents based on client expectations and according FairWind strategy.
Assist and align proposed pricing and margins with business unit and group-level expectations.
Consolidate all documentation and submit completed offers to the Head of Sales.
Support to manage post-offer communication by coordinating responses to client inquiries, in consultation with sales leads
Administrative and Sales Coordination
Maintain organized records of all tender- and project-related documents, in alignment with Sales procedures.
Ensure CRM systems are updated with accurate customer and opportunity information.
Support the maintenance and improvement of cost databases used for tendering.
Support for preparation weekly sales reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
Assist operational teams with relevant client or project data as needed.
Gather and document client feedback for continuous improvement.
Create and update presentations for internal sales and strategy meetings.
Support other sales-related administrative tasks and process improvements as assigned.
Sales Development and Support Activities
Monitor industry trends and market developments relevant to onshore wind projects.
Assist in competitor benchmarking and supplier performance analysis.
Suggest improvements and optimizations in tendering and sales processes.
Participate in selected client meetings to provide documentation or insight support.
Assist in onboarding and training of new sales team members by providing knowledge transfer and procedural guidance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field
4-7 years of experience in tendering, sales support, or a similar role (preferably in renewable energy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, SAP, etc.) and contract documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners in multiple languages
