Job Summary
A Sales Trainee is responsible for learning all products sold by Inline Electric Supply and training to become a part of the sales team. A Sales Trainee will be placed in respective areas based on prior sales experience and knowledge on electrical materials. A Sales Trainee should have excellent customer service skills and should be able to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Begin learning product and material in the warehouse
- Assist in counter sales and retrieving product
- Observe the sales process and assist sales representatives
- Develop relationships with clients and customers
- Assist in providing product information or service quotes
- Learn the IMARK system
- Completion of an in-depth training program that will include travel is required
- Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership team or upper management

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior sales experience is preferred
- Prior electrical material knowledge is preferred
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse
- Valid driver's license with approved motor vehicle report
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 30 lbs. or more
- Ability to speak and listen clearly and effectively
- Ability to occasionally work in extreme weather conditions
