Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence, the Salesforce Administrator is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting Trojan Technologies' Salesforce platform to enable effective sales, service, and customer relationship management processes. This role provides day-to-day Salesforce administration, maintains data integrity, supports user adoption, and delivers platform enhancements that improve business efficiency and decision-making. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, and external partners, the Salesforce Administrator helps ensure the CRM platform remains secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.

This position is part of the Commercial Excellence team located in London, Ontario, Canada and will be hybrid. Please note that only candidates currently based in London, Ontario, will be considered for this opportunity.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service), including user setup, security, roles, profiles, permission sets, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Design and implement custom objects, fields, page layouts, Flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards to support evolving business processes.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions that improve productivity and user experience.
  • Manage CRM data quality through deduplication, imports, exports, ongoing data hygiene, and governance initiatives.
  • Execute Salesforce releases, sandbox deployments, testing, and system upgrades to ensure platform stability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop user documentation, deliver training, and drive Salesforce adoption across the organization.
  • Build reports and dashboards that provide actionable business insights to Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors to support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems while maintaining compliance with security and data governance standards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience administering Salesforce, including hands-on configuration of Sales Cloud or Service Cloud in a multi-user business environment.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator certification or the ability to obtain certification within six months of hire.
  • Experience using Salesforce data management tools (such as Data Loader or Import Wizard) and developing reports and dashboards.
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into Salesforce configurations that improve user adoption and business processes.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional business stakeholders and end users within a CRM environment.
