The Salesforce Administrator & Business Analyst collaborates with functional teams to evaluate business objectives, user requirements, and process maps, delivering optimized technical solutions. The role manages end-to-end platform administration, security, and custom builds, while deploying automated workflows to streamline processes and minimize technical debt. Additionally, the position oversees solution testing, data health and governance, system documentation, and custom reporting/dashboards to ensure executive visibility into key adoption metrics. Serving as the primary point of contact for end-user support and enablement, the role executes continuous project delivery using Agile methodologies while integrating Salesforce release updates and industry best practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Application Configuration, Automation & Troubleshooting

    • Platform Maintenance & Security: Manage new and existing system features, including platform configuration, system maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, user management, and security configurations.

    • Custom Declarative Build: Build and maintain custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validation rules.

    • Automation & Workflow Optimization: Design and deploy automated workflows using Salesforce Flow and Apex to streamline business processes while maximizing standard functionality and minimizing technical debt.

    • Issue Analysis & Technical Support: Conduct analysis and technical support for application bug fixes, system troubleshooting, and solution validations.

  • Requirements, Business Analysis, Design & Project Management

    • Business Objectives Alignment: Collaborate with functional team members to analyze business objectives, directions, and user requirements.

    • Process Mapping & User Stories: Develop user stories and process maps to facilitate a shared understanding of business processes, system requirements, and design.

    • Technical Solution Design: Recommend optimized business processes and technical solutions that deliver maximum return on investment to the organization.

  • Quality Assurance, Data Governance & Documentation

    • Testing & Verification: Plan, develop, and execute solution testing strategies, user acceptance testing (UAT) criteria, test cases/scenarios, and manual/automated test scripts.

    • Data Health & Governance: Oversee data health, hygiene, and governance, including duplicate management rules, data deduplication, mass imports/updates, and data backup procedures.

    • System & Process Documentation: Author and maintain system and process documentation, including narratives and process maps, to support ongoing system utilization and maintenance.

  • Business Practice Expertise, User Enablement & Agile Leadership

    • User Support & Enablement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal user support, troubleshooting, and end-user enablement.

    • Reporting & Analytics: Design, build, and maintain custom reports and dynamic dashboards for departmental and executive visibility, analyzing user adoption and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.

    • Best Practices & Release Updates: Maintain deep working knowledge of business processes, Salesforce release updates, and industry trends, collaborating with key customers and IT leadership to evaluate and share best practices.

    • Agile & Scrum Execution: Lead and participate in Agile and Scrum work processes to drive continuous project delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce platform administration, system configuration, and business analysis.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proven experience building complex automations using Salesforce Flow.
    • Proficiency in managing user access, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security architecture.
    • Experience writing detailed business requirements, user stories, and process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
    • Hands-on experience with data management tools (e.g., Data Loader) and executing data hygiene/governance procedures.
  • Methodology & Soft Skills:
    • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development framework.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ​​​​​​​Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and direct experience).
  • ​​​​​​​Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • ​​​​​​​Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding or light development experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support declarative-first implementations.
    • ​​​ Experience managing multi-cloud environments (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
  • ​​​​​​​Project Delivery: Demonstrated success in leading end-to-end UAT cycles, change management, and user adoption initiatives across business units.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000, Commensurate with experience
