Salesforce Administrator and Business Insights Lead

Remote from South Africa | UK business hours
Full-time, permanent | Market-related salary, depending on experience
Reporting directly to the CEO

Love Salesforce and getting into the numbers? Help us turn our database into more placements and give our business the insight to grow.

We connect education professionals with early years settings and schools across the UK. Our ambition is to fill every vacancy we receive, and we are looking for someone who can help us get there through better systems and smarter use of data. You will own the day-to-day running and development of Salesforce, work directly with our CEO and help our sales and compliance teams become more effective. You will have the space to spot opportunities, suggest ideas and build improvements that make a visible difference.

The opportunity
This role combines hands-on Salesforce administration with business analysis. You might uncover a group of available candidates who could be working, identify where onboarding is slowing down or build a dashboard that shows which sales activity leads to placements. You will investigate the opportunity, recommend a solution and see it through. We want someone curious enough to ask what the data is telling us and practical enough to do something with the answer.

What you will do
• Own and improve Salesforce: manage configuration, users, permissions, data quality and troubleshooting, keeping the platform reliable and easy to use.
• Build dashboards we can act on: give management, consultants and compliance clear insight into gross profit, forecasts, vacancy fill rates, sales conversions and candidate progress.
• Unlock our candidate database: create targeted outreach and reactivation workflows based on skills, location, availability and compliance status.
• Help candidates get into work faster: make outstanding requirements, bottlenecks and next actions visible across onboarding and compliance.
• Automate repetitive work:use Salesforce Flow and connected tools to improve reminders, availability requests and follow-ups.
• Deliver improvements from idea to impact: understand the problem, build and test the solution, train users and check the results.

Bring your technical skills and commercial curiosity
You will work closely with sales, compliance, finance and our technology partners. You will listen to the people using the system, challenge constructively and help them find better ways to work. We value someone who brings ideas proactively and takes ownership through to completion.

What we are looking for
• At least 12 months of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, with evidence you can independently deliver practical improvements.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Flow, objects, fields, validation rules, reports, dashboards and user access controls.
• Confidence working with data, including imports, exports, cleansing, deduplication and checking that reports are accurate.
• An analytical mind and commercial curiosity: you can explain what a trend means and recommend what the business should do next.
• Clear communication, sound judgement and the ability to translate business needs into useful system changes.
• Strong organisation and follow-through, including testing, documentation, user training and support.
• The ability to work independently from South Africa during UK business hours, with reliable internet and a suitable workspace.

Useful experience
Salesforce Administrator certification, recruitment or staffing CRM experience, particularly Seven20, candidate engagement tools, integrations or Power BI would all be valuable. Experience linking operational activity to financial performance would also help you make an impact.

Why join us
• Direct access to the CEO and the opportunity to influence how the business uses technology and data.
• Ownership of an evolving Salesforce platform, with room to propose and deliver your own ideas.
• Work where you can see the results: more candidates working, better decisions and less time lost to administration.
• A fully remote role in South Africa, working with a UK education recruitment business and our teams across both countries.

The difference you will make
Over your first year, you will help us build trusted reporting, generate more value from our existing database and improve the journey from registration to placement. We will agree priorities and measurable goals together, so you can see the contribution your work makes.
