Salesforce Administrator
Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong Salesforce administration and configuration skills
- Experience designing, building, testing and troubleshooting Salesforce Flows
- Knowledge of Salesforce security, permissions and sharing
- Experience with objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules
- Ability to create reports and dashboards
- Experience using SOQL for data investigation
- Experience with data imports, data quality and troubleshooting
- Experience gathering requirements and carrying out impact analysis
- Experience with testing, acceptance criteria and user acceptance testing
- Ability to provide user support, guidance and training
- Ability to recognise when technical escalation is required
- Practical experience administering Salesforce and supporting users
- Experience managing Salesforce security, access and sharing for routine requirements
- Experience investigating configuration, automation, data and reporting issues
- Experience translating business requirements into suitable Salesforce solutions
- Experience creating test scenarios, supporting user acceptance testing and resolving defects
- Experience using SOQL and Salesforce data tools
- Relevant practical experience will be considered alongside certification, and consultant certifications are not required
- Support the day-to-day running and continued improvement of our Salesforce environment
- Handle routine Salesforce administration and user support
- Design, build, test and troubleshoot Salesforce Flows and other declarative configuration
- Gather and clarify requirements with users
- Create reports and dashboards
- Test changes and support users through user acceptance testing
- Recognise when changes are high-risk, code-related or require architectural input, and escalate appropriately
- Handle user requests, day-to-day issues and configuration-related defects
- Manage users, profiles, permission sets, roles, queues, sharing rules and access
- Investigate automation, data, access and reporting issues
- Use SOQL to investigate and validate Salesforce data
- Maintain objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules and other configuration
- Answer user questions and help people use Salesforce effectively
- Provide user training and guidance, including training for engineering teams where needed
- Support day-to-day Marketing Cloud Advanced administration, including segments, campaigns and emails
- Support finance-related Salesforce configuration, including products, price books and related processes
- Build straightforward and moderately complex solutions using Salesforce standard configuration and declarative tools
- Configure custom objects and fields
- Create validation rules, record types and page layouts
- Configure profiles, permission sets, roles and sharing rules
- Build approval processes and other standard automation
- Work directly with users to understand the business problem behind a request
- Ask questions and clarify requirements rather than building the first suggested solution
- Assess which users, data, processes and existing functionality may be affected
- Work with users to define clear acceptance criteria
- Support users during testing and respond to defects or feedback
