Summary
Masa Israel Journey (part of The Jewish Agency) is hiring a full-time Salesforce and AI automation developer for its internal Information Systems team in Jerusalem. The role builds Apex code, AI-driven automations, and integrations between Salesforce, Monday.com and cloud systems, in a hybrid setup with two work-from-home days per week.
Masa Israel Journey is hiring a developer for its Information Systems team to develop its core Salesforce platform and AI automations, working with senior Salesforce implementers and an external development partner.
Responsibilities
- Write, extend and maintain Apex code, including classes, triggers and unit tests, following secure coding practices and Salesforce platform limits.
- Identify manual tasks and build AI tools and automated workflows to address them, with clear controls and output validation.
- Review, test and secure AI-generated code before production deployment, taking professional responsibility for its quality.
- Maintain integrations between Salesforce, Monday.com and other cloud systems, including logging, error handling and retries; resolve synchronization failures and data errors.
- Manage controlled releases, document changes before deployment, and maintain support and knowledge-transfer instructions.
- Provide support, as needed, for cybersecurity incidents affecting systems and integrations within the scope of this role, in coordination with the relevant security team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, automation or integrations, including hands-on Apex development and maintenance of Salesforce solutions in production.
- Experience in Salesforce administration, architecture, user management, and security.
- Ability to use Codex in Salesforce to write and maintain Apex code, tests and technical documentation.
- Experience managing version control in Git and repositories in GitHub, including branches, commits, pull requests and code reviews.
- Experience developing and maintaining REST API integrations, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and certificate management.
- Experience managing AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and manage end-to-end implementations.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
- Strong independent learning skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Advantages

- Experience in Salesforce development (Apex, SOQL, Triggers, Flows) and frontend technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, Visualforce, LWC).
- Experience implementing AI solutions or building workflows with Make, n8n.
- Knowledge of AI tools and automation platforms as Noca.ai/Salesforce Agentforce or direct API integrations with LLM's.
- Familiarity with Sweep is an advantage.
- Knowledge of information security, particularly access controls, API security and data protection.
- Familiarity with form platforms such as FormTitan and Gravity Forms.
