About the role
Salesforce Business Analyst – BAU & Continuous Delivery
BMP Tech One is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join an enterprise BAU squad supporting and continuously improving a live Salesforce platform within the insurance sector.
This role combines business analysis, production support and continuous delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers and QA teams to resolve production issues and deliver scalable Salesforce enhancements.
Location: Australia—Melbourne preferred
Key responsibilities
Own the analysis and triage of Salesforce production incidents and defects
Assess business impact and support prioritisation of BAU requests
Manage a combined backlog of fixes, enhancements and features
Create clear Jira user stories and measurable acceptance criteria
Facilitate workshops to elicit and refine business requirements
Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
Produce process flows, data models, user journeys and functional documentation
Support release planning, business readiness and post-release validation
Conduct impact analysis across users, processes, data and integrations
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including refinement, sprint planning and showcases
Identify recurring issues and drive long-term improvements
Support data quality, platform governance and operational efficiency
About you
Five or more years of business analysis experience
Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst in a BAU or production-support environment
Strong experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud
Experience with OmniStudio and Conga
Salesforce integration experience using MuleSoft and/or custom APIs
Ability to manage concurrent incidents, defects and enhancements
Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capability
Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence
Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline
Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification is highly regarded
Salesforce Business Analyst and cloud-specific certifications are advantageous
