Salesforce Developer | $4K-$5K USD Monthly + Hybrid | Industry Leading Global Language Tech Company (3 months project)
Our client is looking for a Salesforce Developer responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying custom solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role translates business requirements into scalable technical designs using both declarative and programmatic tools, and works closely with administrators, senior developers, and architects to deliver high-quality applications. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to Salesforce best practices, with a desire to continue growing their technical expertise. This is a temporary, fixed-term position with an expected duration of 3 months.
Responsibilites
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely fixes or escalate complex defects as needed.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware tools.
- Develop and optimize custom objects, fields, Apex triggers, classes, and batch or asynchronous processes.
- Configure and extend declarative automation (flows, validation rules, approval processes), balancing declarative and programmatic solutions under the guidance of senior developers or architects.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure adequate code coverage and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Maintain technical documentation for custom development, integrations, and deployment procedures.
- Evaluate new Salesforce features and releases, assessing their impact on existing customizations prior to deployment.
- Collaborate with administrators, senior developers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Support release management activities, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment validation.
- Promote Salesforce development best practices and help maintain governance, security, and data integrity standards.
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required, Platform Developer II or Administrator certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Basic understanding of reports, dashboards, security model, flows, and data management.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and development utilities such as Salesforce DX, VS Code, and Data Loader.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience working within the Scrum framework and participating in Agile Methodoligies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher), both written and spoken.
