Summary
Builds and maintains Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud apps and Vlocity/OmniStudio solutions using Apex, LWC, and integrations for Ford’s fintech systems.
The Salesforce Vlocity Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce and Salesforce Industries solutions. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, integrations, and Salesforce development best practices. The candidate will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and managed packages.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications.
- Configure and implement Salesforce Flows, Profiles, Permission Sets, Validation Rules, and Custom Objects.
- Design and implement complex Salesforce solutions, including data migration and automation processes.
- Develop secure and scalable API integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
- Design and develop integrations between Vlocity and external systems including CRM, ERP, middleware, and third-party applications.
- Build OmniStudio solutions using:
- OmniScripts
- FlexCards
- DataRaptors (Extract, Load, Transform)
- Integration Procedures
- Leverage DataRaptor and Vlocity integration tools to support efficient data exchange and transformation.
- Implement data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization processes.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and production support.
- Follow Salesforce development standards, security guidelines, and CI/CD best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong hands-on coding expertise.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations.
- Strong experience in:
- Apex
- Triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Aura Components
- Managed Packages
- Visualforce
- Hands-on experience with OmniStudio/Vlocity components including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce Flows, Profiles, Security Models, and Custom Objects.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Salesforce integration patterns.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code (VS Code), Salesforce Code Builder, or equivalent development tools.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working with large datasets and ETL processes.
- Experience with Salesforce application lifecycle management, including CI/CD pipelines and testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification.
- Salesforce Industries (Vlocity/OmniStudio) Certification.
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Gearset, or Copado.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
