Summary
Designs and maintains Salesforce CI/CD pipelines, automates deployments with SFDX and Metadata API, and enforces code quality via Git and static analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management-related courses.
- At least 4-7 years (mid-level) experience in Salesforce DevOps
- At least 8-10 years (senior level) experience in Salesforce DevOps
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using platforms like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Deployment & Release Management: Manage the end-to-end release process, ensuring stable, automated deployments across sandbox, staging, and production environments using Salesforce DX (SFDX) and Metadata API.
- Source Control & Quality Gates: Enforce version control standards (Git branching, pull requests) and integrate static code analysis (e.g., PMD, SonarQube) to ensure code quality.
- Environment Strategy & Automation: Develop and maintain environment strategies, including scratch org management and data management, and automate testing (unit tests, regression testing).
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor release KPIs (deployment success rate, lead time) and troubleshoot deployment or build failures.
- Collaboration & Governance: Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to define DevOps strategies, establish best practices, and improve release governance
