  • Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins to automate Salesforce deployments.
  • Manage the complete deployment and release lifecycle across sandbox, staging, UAT, and production environments using Salesforce DX (SFDX), Metadata API, and deployment automation tools.
  • Implement and enforce Git version control best practices, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and merge policies.
  • Integrate static code analysis and quality assurance tools (e.g., PMD, SonarQube) to ensure code quality, security, and compliance before deployment.
  • Develop and maintain environment management strategies, including scratch orgs, sandbox refreshes, environment synchronization, and data migration.
  • Automate Salesforce testing processes, including Apex unit tests, regression testing, and validation testing, to improve deployment reliability.
  • Monitor CI/CD pipeline performance, deployment success rates, lead times, and other DevOps metrics to continuously improve release efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve deployment issues, build failures, merge conflicts, and environment-related problems promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce Developers, Solution Architects, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to support project delivery and release planning.
  • Define and implement Salesforce DevOps governance, deployment standards, release procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Support multiple concurrent Salesforce projects by coordinating deployment schedules, release calendars, and production rollouts.
  • Ensure all Salesforce deployments comply with organizational security, audit, and change management policies.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend new DevOps tools, automation techniques, and best practices to improve software delivery performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, release notes, and standard operating procedures for DevOps processes.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote DevOps culture, automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across Salesforce development teams.
  • Participate in release planning, sprint reviews, post-deployment validation, and production support activities to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Source Control & Quality Gates: Enforce version control standards (Git branching, pull requests) and integrate static code analysis (e.g., PMD, SonarQube) to ensure code quality.
  • Environment Strategy & Automation: Develop and maintain environment strategies, including scratch org management and data management, and automate testing (unit tests, regression testing).
