Salesforce Engineering Manager

What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Salesforce Engineering Manager within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Account Payables line of business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a Salesforce software engineering team consisting of Salesforce developers, admins, and quality engineers. The Engineering Manager is accountable for delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality Salesforce solutions while developing people, improving engineering practices, and partnering closely with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
As Corpay transforms into an AI-native software engineering organization, this leader will be expected to drive adoption of AI across the Salesforce software development lifecycle. Our engineering teams leverage AI to accelerate solution design, Apex and Lightning development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, release management, and operational support while maintaining the highest standards of quality, security, governance, and engineering excellence. Successful candidates will have experience applying generative AI within software engineering and will be excited to help shape the future of AI-powered software development.
The Salesforce Engineering Manager must possess strong technical leadership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, and experience delivering enterprise applications that integrate across cloud and on-premises systems.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:

Providing technical leadership, coaching, mentoring, and career development for Salesforce developers and quality engineers.
Building an engaged, collaborative, and high-performing engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Establishing clear goals, expectations, and performance standards for teams and individuals.
Leading the development, deployment, and support of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom platform capabilities.
Driving adoption of agentic software engineering practices that leverage AI agents to accelerate Salesforce solution delivery.
Driving adoption of AI-native quality engineering practices to generate and maintain test assets, improve Apex test coverage, accelerate regression testing, identify risk, and improve defect analysis.
Ensuring AI-generated code and artifacts meet Corpay engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, Salesforce security best practices, and engineering judgment.
Partnering with Product Management and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for customer-facing AI capabilities and Salesforce platform innovations that create business value.
Owning delivery commitments by proactively managing schedules, dependencies, risks, and impediments.
Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and other technical leaders to ensure Salesforce solutions align with Corpay’s technology strategy, security standards, and integration architecture.
Overseeing Salesforce release management, DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Copado, and modern source control practices.
Promoting platform governance, technical debt reduction, scalability, performance optimization, and adherence to Salesforce best practices.
Collaborating with other engineering teams, platform teams, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated enterprise solutions.
Performing other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience delivery execution of Salesforce solutions.
8+ years leading software engineering, Salesforce engineering, or quality engineering teams.
Deep knowledge of the Salesforce Platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and platform security.
Experience delivering solutions across one or more Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud preferred).
Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware, or AWS integration services.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and emerging AI-native software development methodologies.
Experience applying generative AI to software design, development, testing, documentation, or delivery.
Experience with Git, Copado, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce deployment best practices.
Familiarity with Azure cloud services and enterprise integration patterns.
Strong understanding of software architecture, secure development practices, and enterprise application design.
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Agentforce Specialist certifications preferred.
Excellent communication, collaboration, coaching, and leadership skills.

Pay Transparency
The expected salary range for this position is $169,000 – $190,000, based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process. Additional compensation and benefits, including incentive programs, health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits (where applicable), may also be provided.
