Salesforce/Full Stack Engineer, Singapore Global Network (1+1 year contract)

Build and maintain Salesforce systems (Clouds, Apex, LWC) for a government team connecting Singapore’s global business and talent networks.
(What the role is) About SGN The Singapore Global Network (SGN) is a division in the Economic Development Board tasked to re-energise Singapore's efforts in building a strong and extensive ecosystem of overseas Family, Friends, Fans (3F) for Singapore. SGN leads the Whole-Of-Government effort to coordinate across agencies and strengthen our collective networks whose skills, affinity and influence could help build linkages to global business and talent communities and enhance the international mindshare of Singapore as a leading globally connected city. Singapore Global Network (SGN) is a division of EDB. (What you will be working on) As a member of SGN's digital products team, you will develop, deliver and maintain a tech stack that enables SGN's work in fostering connections between and within Singapore's global business and talent communities. We're looking for someone with expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem—including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Tableau Cloud. Your main role will be focusing on the technical implementation across our Salesforce systems, including integrations with other non-Salesforce systems. There will also be opportunities to work on other digital products within the wider EDB organisation. Some Of The Key Job Scopes Are
- Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, flows, Apex triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and availability while exhibiting understanding in best practices in architecture, development, and deployment.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Salesforce environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the systems and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement solutions aligned with business needs.
- Develop and execute unit tests and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure defect-free functionality.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 2 or more years of experience in Salesforce development and administration.
- Expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration tools and APIs (REST, SOAP).
- Understanding of data modelling, flows, validation rules, and automation tools.
- Experience in frontend and backend development and relevant technologies
- Experience in Data Cloud, Tableau Cloud and Agentic Workflows
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Architect).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
