Salesforce Manager
Description
Position Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic Manager of Sales Technology to lead the administration, optimization, and evolution of our sales tech stack—including Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Engagement), Pardot, ZoomInfo, and Tableau. This role is critical to stabilizing and streamlining our systems, driving operational efficiency, and laying the foundation for scalable growth.
You’ll be the go-to subject matter expert for all things sales tech—fixing what’s broken, building what’s missing, and guiding our teams toward smarter, more integrated workflows. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands how technology drives revenue, and can work cross-functionally to align Sales, Marketing, CX, and Commercial Operations.
Position Overview: The Manager, Sales Technology will own the administration, development, automation, and optimization of our entire sales technology stack, including Salesforce.com, Pardot, ZoomInfo, and other related platforms. This role combines deep Salesforce expertise with the ability to integrate, automate, and manage complementary sales technologies – ensuring our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Operation teams operate in a seamless, data-driven environment. The ideal candidate is certified in Salesforce administration, experienced with Pardot, and comfortable managing the full lifecycle of sales technology, from requirements gathering to deployment and user adoption.
Essential Job Functions:

• Serve as the primary Salesforce system administrator, managing users, roles, permissions, security, and data access.
• Configure, customize, and enhance Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and Lightning apps.
• Develop automations using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex where applicable to streamline business processes.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success KPIs.
• Perform regular data hygiene, deduplication, and system audits.
Marketing Automation & Lead Management
• Administer and optimize Pardot (Account Engagement) including automation rules, lead scoring, grading, and nurturing programs.
• Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and Pardot for campaign tracking, attribution, and data consistency.
• Partner with Marketing to improve lead routing, scoring models, and conversion tracking.
Sales Technology Stack Administration (examples)
• Own and manage other sales enablement and productivity tools such as:
o Sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, Groove)
o CPQ or quoting tools (Salesforce CPQ, DealHub, Conga)
o Contract lifecycle management tools
o Data enrichment platforms (ZoomInfo, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
o Conversation intelligence tools (Echo.ai, Gong, Chorus)
• Ensure all tools are integrated with Salesforce and aligned to revenue team workflows.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and license allocations.
Automation, Integration & Optimization
• Design and implement automation to reduce manual work across systems.
• Collaborate with IT and Data & Analytics to maintain and enhance system integrations (via APIs, middleware, or native connectors).
• Evaluate new technologies, run pilots, and recommend adoption or replacement of sales tools.
User Enablement & Governance
• Create and maintain documentation, process maps, and change logs for all sales technologies.
• Deliver training and support to users to drive adoption and best practices.
• Stay current on Salesforce and sales technology releases, applying relevant updates to our environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
This role centers on owning and optimizing the Salesforce ecosystem to support business operations across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. It involves designing and implementing scalable automations, managing integrations, and serving as the go-to resource for CRM enhancements and user support. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in declarative Salesforce tools (Flows, Process Builder, Reports), a strategic mindset for platform governance, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
