Salesforce Project Manager
Are you a Salesforce Project Manager who can bring structure to complexity, build trust quickly, and lead stakeholders confidently through change?
Talent Hub is partnering with a financial services organisation embarking on a major Salesforce transformation. The role will suit someone who combines strong project management discipline with stakeholder maturity, change leadership and the ability to operate confidently in a complex delivery environment.
The programme includes Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, MuleSoft, Experience Cloud and a lending-related solution built on the Salesforce platform. You will represent the internal business, oversee the external delivery partner, and establish the governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement needed to keep the programme moving in the right direction.
This is not just a delivery role. Many stakeholders will be experiencing this level of transformation for the first time, so your ability to influence, challenge constructively, manage resistance and bring people on the journey will be critical.
What you’ll be doing
Oversee the external Salesforce delivery partner, ensuring delivery remains aligned to scope, timelines and agreed commercial terms
Build and manage internal project artefacts, governance packs, reporting, decision logs and stakeholder updates
Own risk, issue, dependency and milestone tracking across the programme
Support CAPEX management, budget tracking and financial governance processes
Establish and maintain a clear project governance cadence, including forums, updates and escalation pathways
Lead stakeholder alignment, support change readiness, and help teams adapt to new ways of working
What you’ll bring
Proven experience managing complex Salesforce transformation projects
Strong project management fundamentals across governance, planning, risk, milestones, budget and stakeholder reporting
Salesforce exposure, ideally across Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, MuleSoft or related financial services platforms
Experience in financial services, lending, banking, insurance, wealth or similar environments
Strong stakeholder leadership skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and push back constructively
Change capability, including resistance management, adoption planning and helping stakeholders navigate ambiguity
A calm, credible and pragmatic style, with strong judgement on when to hold firm and when to flex
The ideal candidate will bring Salesforce experience, financial services exposure and strong project management capability. However, there is flexibility for the right person. Where one area is lighter, we would expect clear strength in another, such as exceptional project delivery capability, complex stakeholder leadership, or proven experience guiding organisations through significant change.
This role will require a strong on-site presence in Melbourne’s northern suburbs for the first couple of months, before moving to a hybrid model of approximately 2–3 days per week in the office.
If you’re a mature, structured and influential Project Manager who can lead both the delivery and the people side of transformation, we’d love to hear from you
