Join Centric Consulting – A Culture You’ll Love

At Centric Consulting, we've cultivated a unique approach to business. Our business is built on three fundamental principles: Enjoy the people you work with, have fun, and do great work. These principles define our consulting model and have crafted one of the most vibrant cultures in the consulting industry – celebrating individuals, collaboration, and lifelong friendships.

Bring together your QA expertise, Salesforce experience, and commercial lending knowledge to help improve the quality of technology that supports critical banking processes.

At Centric Consulting, we’re looking for a Salesforce QA Consultant who knows that great testing goes far beyond checking whether a requirement works. You’re naturally curious. You ask the next question. You think about what could go wrong, consider how a real user will navigate a process, and uncover scenarios others might miss.

You’ll build expertise across Salesforce and nCino-supported commercial lending processes, partnering with technical analysts, product owners, business subject matter experts, and SDETs. You’ll translate complex lending workflows into thoughtful functional test scenarios, support automation efforts, and help teams deliver high-quality solutions with confidence.

In this role, you will:

  • Become a trusted functional partner by developing a deep understanding of commercial lending processes and Salesforce/nCino functionality.
  • Partner with technical analysts, product owners, business SMEs, developers, and SDETs to understand requirements and how solutions should work in the real world.
  • Translate business requirements and lending workflows into clear, comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  • Design functional test scenarios that can be incorporated into automated testing and regression suites.
  • Perform hands-on functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) across business-critical workflows.
  • Think beyond the happy path by identifying edge cases, exceptions, dependencies, and potential quality risks.
  • Ask thoughtful questions that uncover gaps, clarify expected outcomes, and strengthen test coverage.
  • Partner with SDETs and automation engineers to help turn functional knowledge into reusable automated tests.
  • Clearly document defects, results, risks, and observations so technical and business stakeholders can make informed decisions.
  • Help continuously improve testing practices, documentation, and overall solution quality.

Who You Are:

  • You have experience in software quality assurance, functional testing, UAT, or a related testing role.
  • You bring commercial banking experience and an understanding of commercial lending processes or products.
  • You have experience working with Salesforce or comparable enterprise platforms.
  • nCino experience is highly preferred, but we're also interested in candidates with strong commercial lending expertise who can quickly learn the platform.
  • You have a true tester mindset. You naturally ask “what if?” and think through exceptions, dependencies, edge cases, and end-user experiences.
  • You can turn business and functional requirements into meaningful, well-structured test scenarios.
  • You understand both the technical and business sides of testing and can communicate effectively with each.
  • You enjoy collaborating across product, business, development, and quality engineering teams.
  • You’re analytical, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable challenging assumptions when something doesn’t make sense.
  • You learn quickly and are energized by developing expertise in complex technologies and business processes.
  • Experience supporting test automation or partnering with SDETs or automation engineers is a plus.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
