Salesforce Support Officer

The Salesforce Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the ongoing operation, enhancement and adoption of Salesforce across RDN. Working closely with business users, stakeholders and the Salesforce development team, you’ll provide user support, gather and document business requirements, coordinate testing and contribute to the delivery of Salesforce enhancements.

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term role.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day Salesforce support, responding to user enquiries, investigating issues and coordinating solutions with the Salesforce development team.

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, and translate these into clear information for technical teams.

  • Support Salesforce enhancements and projects, including requirements gathering, process improvement, change management and stakeholder engagement.

  • Develop test scenarios and scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing and validation of system changes.

  • Support Salesforce releases by coordinating communications, documentation, user readiness and training activities.

  • Develop and maintain user guides, process documentation and knowledge resources, while identifying opportunities to improve system adoption, data quality and business processes.

About you

You are a customer-focused technology professional who enjoys working with people to understand their needs and find practical solutions. You’re comfortable working across business and technical teams and have an interest in Salesforce, business analysis and continuous improvement.

You will bring:

  • Experience in Salesforce administration, systems support or a similar role, with an understanding of business requirements gathering, system testing and implementation.

  • Experience supporting business applications and users, with the ability to analyse issues, document requirements and contribute to practical solutions.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences and build effective working relationships.

  • Experience with UAT, testing, defect management and supporting system releases or enhancements, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working across multiple systems or in an Agile environment is desirable, as is knowledge of Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack, Marketing Cloud or integrated business systems.

  • Qualifications in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business Analysis or a related field, or equivalent experience. Salesforce Administrator certification is desirable.

  • An understanding of, or commitment to, Aboriginal health, cultural awareness and safety.
