CalibrX is partnering with a specialist Salesforce consulting business that takes a different approach to delivery. This growing partner is making waves and disrupting the market with their approach to projects and outcomes.

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the technical direction of complex Salesforce projects, with a strong focus across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.

The right person will be comfortable owning the architecture from discovery through to delivery, working directly with customers and staying close enough to the platform to ensure the solution being designed can actually be built.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Salesforce technical architecture and solution design across complex implementations
• Design scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Run technical discovery and architecture workshops with customers
• Translate business requirements into practical Salesforce technical designs
• Take an out-of-the-box-first approach and avoid unnecessary custom development
• Design solutions across automation, security, data models, integrations and custom development
• Provide technical direction to Salesforce Developers and Consultants
• Review builds and technical designs to ensure quality, scalability and maintainability
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies and technical trade-offs early
• Challenge requirements where there is a better or more sustainable approach
• Maintain ownership of the technical integrity of the solution throughout delivery

Experience:

• Strong experience working as a Salesforce Technical Architect, Solution Architect or senior technical lead
• Deep understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Strong experience working with Experience Cloud
• Excellent understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns and platform limitations
• Experience designing complex security models, automation and data structures
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce integrations, APIs and integration patterns
• Good understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components and custom development
• Ability to determine when configuration should be used versus custom development
• An out-of-the-box-first mindset with a focus on simple, scalable solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in straightforward language
• Comfortable challenging customers and providing clear technical recommendations
• Someone who takes ownership of the outcome rather than simply producing architecture diagrams
