Te Tūranga – About the role

At Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI), we’re looking for a Technical Lead to provide technical leadership within our Salesforce squad, helping deliver robust solutions that support our stores, teams, and customers across New Zealand. You'll be actively involved in designing, building, supporting, and improving the platforms your squad owns. Ready to make an impact? Let’s build something amazing together!

What you’ll do

  • Lead technical design and engineering decisions across Salesforce platforms and integrations

  • Stay hands-on with development, automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps, monitoring, and operational excellence

  • Mentor and grow team members through design reviews, collaboration, and technical coaching

  • Drive platform stability, resilience, security, and scalability

  • Lead technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Strong hands-on Salesforce platform experience

  • Proven experience leading technical design and delivery within Agile teams

  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, platform architecture, and enterprise systems

  • Expertise in CI/CD, automation, testing, DevSecOps, monitoring, and release management

  • Experience supporting critical business systems in complex environments

  • Strong problem-solving, incident management, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A passion for mentoring others and lifting technical capability across teams
