Salesforce Tester, Sydney CBD

I am currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Salesforce Test Analyst on behalf of my enterprise-sized client.

In this role, you will join a fast-paced CRM delivery team to lead end-to-end functional and regression testing across core Salesforce features, custom logic, portals, and integrations. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and business partners to ensure reliable, high-quality releases with minimal day-one defects.

Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution: Design, write, and execute detailed functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios across complex Salesforce configurations.

Declarative & Workflow Testing: Thoroughly test declarative Salesforce builds, including Flows, Validation Rules, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), page layouts, and sharing/security models.

Integrations & Portals: Perform end-to-end testing across customer/partner portals (Experience Cloud) and APIs/integrations connected to upstream and downstream enterprise systems.

UAT Support: Coordinate and support business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assisting with script preparation, environment readiness, and defect triage.

Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, log, prioritize, and re-test defects in Jira or Azure DevOps, collaborating directly with Salesforce developers to ensure timely resolution.

Release Verification: Conduct pre- and post-deployment smoke testing following environment refreshes and scheduled production releases.

What I Am Looking For
Pure Salesforce QA Experience: 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on functional testing experience within native Salesforce environments (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).

Deep Platform Understanding: Ability to inspect and test complex Salesforce logic—understanding how Flows, security settings, user roles/profiles, and validation rules operate without needing baseline platform training.

Core QA Skillset: Proven capability in test case design, matrix creation, boundary testing, exploratory testing, and defect tracking.

Stakeholder Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills to clearly articulate technical defects, quality risks, and testing progress to non-technical business partners.

Desirable Certifications
Salesforce Certified Administrator

Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant or Platform App Builder

This is an excellent role, joining a high performing team undergoing a serious program of work. Candidates must have extensive core experience in Salesforce Testing. This is a hardcore Salesforce team & candidates must have worked in a Salesforce environment for a minimum of 3+yrs.
